February 2026 - Our aid project for the people and animals in Ukraine

February was marked by deeply moving encounters and aid that went far beyond material support. Our association dedicated itself wholeheartedly to helping people and animals in war-torn Ukraine – all those who, amidst the destruction, often have only hope and the help of others left.

The 267th van carrying humanitarian aid was sent to Ukraine.

We are bringing medical aid, muesli bars, tube feeding, 18 oil heating units and some gas heating units, dog food and much more. In addition, we sent around 10,000 muesli bars to Kharkiv with a Caritas transport.

A lot of organization goes into every transport, but February showed once again what is possible when people stick together.

Our next 40-ton truck (No. 36) carrying humanitarian aid is being prepared for the end of February. A truly dedicated friend, Elmar Paul Wolgast, has organized 11 generators from his network, which we will send along at the end of February.

Viktor, military chaplain of the 110th Brigade, collects food, chocolate for children, dog food, canisters and much more, and brings the items to eastern Ukraine for us.

Countless care packages have been packed together with volunteer helpers and sent within Ukraine to people in need. We have also sent hyaluronic bandages to the Pidvolochysk Rehabilitation Hospital.

At this point, thank you to the Ukrainian Post, which is incredibly fast, reliable, and affordable.

Since the beginning of the war, we have sent hundreds of parcels to people in need in Ukraine.
