April 2026 – Humanitarian Aid Projects in Ukraine, Syria, and Austria

Also in April, our association remained true to its humanitarian mission and continued its support for people and animals in war-affected Ukraine without interruption. Thanks to the extraordinary commitment of our members and the valuable support of our donors, numerous important relief initiatives were once again successfully carried out.
We also provide support in Austria:
For an elderly woman living in near poverty, we financed a urgently needed washing machine.
We support the renovation of accommodation for internally displaced persons as well as a school in the Kramatorsk region, thereby contributing to addressing the massive destruction caused by the war in Ukraine.
We also provide assistance in Syria: For a family known to us in the Raqqa region, we purchase food and children’s clothing.
The collection for the next humanitarian aid transport is already in full swing.
Donation of several pallets of medical supplies and bedding – many thanks to the Red Cross Langenlois.
Donation of several pallets of pre-sorted clothing – many thanks to SOS Balkanroute.
Soft drinks, food, and sweets – many thanks to Billaplus.
Flashlights, batteries, and chargers worth approximately €10,000; three collections of diapers and baby food valued at €3,000; as well as one collection of women’s hygiene and personal care products.

Alongside the humanitarian aid transports, further essential supplies were also secured locally.
Support for internally displaced people in Petropavlivka, Boginovka, and Shakhtarske.
Often, our budget is only enough for soup and bread. Whenever possible, we also provide food for dogs and cats.
Our team in Ukraine accomplishes the unimaginable every single day.
Under the most difficult conditions, they work tirelessly to support people and animals.
