Aid for refugees from Ukraine

The past few days have been overwhelming: we were fully engaged in organizing rapid support for people fleeing Ukraine.

Thanks to our wonderful cooperation partner from Kärnten, the Together – Verein, and the committed Angelika Tarmann, we were able to fill a large truck with 11 tons of donated goods today. The shipment includes clothing, food, hygiene products, and medications.

We also purchased diapers and sanitary pads worth EUR 1,000, as these items are urgently needed on site. Thank you to Farah Alrubaye for her initiative in making this possible.

Tomorrow afternoon, the truck will already depart for the Romanian–Ukrainian border. The distribution of the donated goods at the border will be carried out by our friend Georg Jachan and his Association for Worldwide Emergency Aid.

We are very pleased that we were able to help the refugees from Ukraine so quickly and without bureaucracy. A heartfelt thank-you especially to our cooperation partners!
